About Voiteck

Voiteck’s founders, after working in the IT industry for 80 years, realised they could help organisations by making their traditional land line communication system work smarter with VoIP technology. With VoIP becoming prevalent in not only the consumer and small business world with the introduction of sites like Skype, but also at the large enterprise level with fixed internal IP networks, the opportunity to introduce this product arose.

With extensive mobile telecommunications experience, one of the founders - Declan O’Callaghan saw the potential and understood businesses previous reservations of IP telephony, which were mostly due to lack of information and the market being suffocated by expensive solutions so he and Voiteck’s co-founders found a better way.

After considerable research Voiteck selected to use the Asterisk™ solution as the core of our product range. Our Story

In 2009, the founders of Voiteck realised that organisations could make their phone lines work smarter for a fraction of the cost of traditional landlines using VoIP technology. A handshake between the founders symbolised the beginning of Voiteck and the vision of becoming the best VoIP provider in SA and NT by 2011 – something we’re committed to achieving.

CEO

Declan O'Callaghan

CEO and co-founder of Voiteck, Declan has almost 20 years experience in the IT and telecommunications industry.

He started his career as an electrical engineer in the United Kingdom before turning to sales of large Enterprise Resource Planning solutions in New Zealand.

In 1999, Declan was one of the founding members of iTouch New Zealand, a Wireless Software Company specialising in Mobile Business applications.

In 2002, Declan joined Vodafone and worked his way up to General Manager – SA, where he significantly exceeded sales growth and shareholder return.

Today, Declan’s focus is to lead the team at Voiteck in providing clients with an advanced feature rich telephony solution and outstanding customer service.
