The Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) has been keeping its members and the general public informed of developments in the real estate profession since 1971.
With more than 2000 real estate professionals plus the general public relying on REISA to get updo-date information, REI house at Dulwich even have a dedicated phone number for Information Service which shows not only how much the organisation has grown but how important their phone system is.
In 2010, the current system had no room for more extensions and cost of calls to mobiles was becoming an increasingly big part of their monthly bill. It became apparent to CEO Greg Troughton that it was not worth renovating the current system, it was time to invest in a new one.
After spending months researching and comparing what was available, Greg decided a Voiteck system was going to take REISA to the next level.
Voiteck delivered a solution with unlimited extensions to ensure that REISA would not outgrow the system. To combat the growing cost of calls to mobiles, which was almost 50% of their monthly bill, Voiteck delivered GSM gateways to carry all of their mobile traffic. All mobile calls are now treated as mobile-to-mobile saving REISA, at least 40% of their mobile terminating bill on a monthly basis.
“The savings didn’t end there,” said Greg, “Voiteck was able to reduce the amount of telephone lines we were using, reducing our line rental costs.”
One of the biggest benefits of choosing Voiteck and changing to an IP telephony solution is that it “has allowed REISA to manage our business more effectively,” said Greg. Voiteck has reduced the work load on reception, by applying intelligent routing of telephone calls allowing the right calls to be directed to the right people instantaneously.
Most importantly, our new system has support, said Greg. “We know who to call whenever we have a question and Voiteck are always there to help.”
The benefits of a Voiteck solution are what you would expect from your phone system and more – a reduction on landline and mobile call costs, savings on line rental and most surprisingly, an increase in staff productivity.
